Sometimes, you just have to get over yourself

Sometimes, you just have to get over yourself.

This is brilliant piece of writing describes how to share something you’ve made – in this case a poem. You just have to get over yourself. Receiving feedback is validating: you’ve made the work, shared it and are ready to edit & finish. What makes this process so excrutiating? Why do we put it off or run from it?
